-Falcons clinched playoff spot, but if they win sunday vs rams and panthers lose to saints, falcons get 2nd seed and 1st round bye and get to play at least 1 game at home.

-Chargers get to play broncos for the AFC west title.

1) Miami Dolphins AFC EAST CHAMPIONS
2) Pats 11-5 and NOT in the playoffs
3) Marino's passing record is safe
4) Philly whomping on the 'Boys

Yeah...the NFL is awesome isn't it? The Patriots have a record of 11-5 while playing in a surprisingly tough division and are going home. The Chargers have a record of 8-8 coming from a horrible division and are playing the colts next week. Even the Vikings at 10-6 from a division that had the 0-16 Lions and a horrible Packers team got in. NFL playoff system = FAIL.

I didn't hear too many complaints last year when the pats got to play the 1-15 fins twice, the 4-12 jets twice, and a crappy bills team twice.

And yes ... the pats are 11-5 ... but they also played one of the easiest schedules in football. 9 of their games came against teams without winning records. I'm not saying the dolphins schedule was any more difficult because it wasn't. However, I will say that the pats don't deserve to go either. If we look at the teams that are in. The steelers, colts, and chargers all beat the pats so they trump. The titans have one of the best records in football, even though their SoS is surprisingly weak, so they trump. The Fins won the division and split with the pats so they trump. That leaves Baltimore and if you can make a legitamte argument to replace them I'd like to hear it.

All I know is that after being the cellar for so many years, it feels great to be on top.

I hate Dallas so much right now. Heartless, Gutless, Passionless, Sissies, Digraces. all synonyms for the cowboys this season and the 2 before this one for that matter. FUCK!
