Here it is lets see how sports oriented we are. Im a huge sports freak and I'm ready for some good topics. Ill throw some of my opinions out there and let you guys start from there

My favorite teams:

MLB: Padres
NFL: Chargers and Falcons
NBA: Suns and Timberwolves
College NCAA: University of Arizona Wildcats (Where I attend college)
NASCAR: Greg Biffle (Know him personally)
Golf: Tiger baby!

Teams I do not like:

MLB: Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs
NFL: Cowboys, Raiders, Panthers
NBA: Lakers
College NCAA: Arizona State, USC, Ohio State, Duke
NASCAR: Dale Jr.
Golf: Vijay

Some of my opinions/predictions which might spark conversation:

1. Salary cap needs to be put in play in baseball
2. Colts will not make the playoffs
3. NFL teams that started hot that will phail: Bills, Panthers, Broncos
4. Suns ruined thier franchise by trading for Shaq
5. Cowboys are babies
6. BCS needs a playoff system
7. I am the best at fantasy football
8. Red Sox will win the world series unfortunately
9. The Cowboys will be in the superbowl unfortunately
10. The Raiders will suck for another 3-4 years at LEAST
11. The Patriots will never be the same (Dynasty OVER)
12. The Titans ARE the best team AT THE MOMENT
13. Tiger Woods will return and dominate
14. NBA has gone downhill and needs to stop comparing players to old legends like Jordan, Bird, Magic!
15. The Bears goaline stand last week was EPIC
16. Darren McFadden will get injured

Teams I like
MLB: None
NFL: Dolphins and to a lesser extent Buccs and Panthersn
NBA: A small passing interest in the Magic
NCAA: Georgia Tech (Where I got my Bachelors)
NASCAR: None
Golf: passing interest in Vijay simply because hes a GT alum

Teams I hate
MLB: ALL (I wish this sport would just die, especially the Marlins for ruining my football field every year)
NFL: Pats, followed by Jets, followed by Bills, followed by the team the Fins are playing this week. Means I hate the chargers this week.
NBA: None
NCAA: UGA and Florida (there are too many Florida fans where I work so its much more fun to root against them)
NASCAR: don't care enough to hate
Golf: Same as above

Comments on your thoughts:
1. Forget salary cap, just get rid of the sport all together (I hate baseball)
2. I wouldn't sell the colts off yet. They have an easy schedule until the 27th when they play Tennessee. They lose that game bad I'll sell their season off
3. As much as I would love to say your right about buffalo, they have a fairly easy schedule all the way through so I think they'll have a good season this year. Your dead on with denver, they have no defense what so ever. I think its too early to tell one way or the other with Carolina.
4. No real interest in pro basketball
5. Well they used to be drugies so I guess its an improvement
6. Yes they do. I think they should take the conference champion from each conference and a handfull of wild cards and put them in a playoff system. You can replace the 500 bowl games with playoff games. And if you really need more money, run a smaller tournament like the NIT for those that didn't make the big playoff game.
7. You only think you're the best because you haven't played me. We definately need a f0xdie fantasy league next year.
8. meh ... baseball
9. I think the NFC East will beat each other up and no team from the NFC East will make the super bowl. I predict an NFC south team makes the super bowl. Leaning towards the saints even with their 2-2 start
10. I think the Raiders went backwards firing their coach. I think any progress made toward recovery just died. The Rams however will get better with Haslett
11. I agree 100% Pats are going to take a beating this year and finish in the bottom third of the nfl
12. I dunno ... I'd take the Giants over Titans (Provided the Giants have Plaxico on the field)
13. meh ... golf
14. meh ... pro basketball
15. Agreed
16. Probably

My comment.
Dolphins make the playoffs this year
Dolphins beat chargers in a close one this weekend ... 23-20

NFC South in SUPERBOWL??? Wow.

Here is my reasons why no NFC south will make it to superbowl.

First of all, they all beat eachother up in the division, you never know whos gonna win an NFC south game, so the record of the team that wins the division and goes to the playoffs will not be very good (9-7 probably decided by a tiebreaker) and not get good seeding and probably play the Giants or Cowboys (Whoever doesnt get the bye) right off the bat and get embarassed.

2nd of all The NFC East WILL Represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
I would not be suprised if they send 3 teams to the playoffs just like last year. All 4 should go considering how bad the rest of the NFC is. The worst team in the NFC east I think is the Redskins, who just beat everyones pick for superbowl champs. The next best team right now outside the NFC east is the Bucs. The north and west have nothing to offer.

I see the NFC Playoff bracket looking like this....
#1 Seed Giants
#2 Bears (yep)
#3 Bucs
#4 Cardnials (Dont say seahwaks)
#5 Cowboys
#6 Eagles

AFC
#1 Titans (Jeff Fisher 2008 Coach of the Year)
#2 Steelers
#3 Chargers
#4 Jets (Favres got the magic not sure about the D)
#5 Jaguars
#6 Ravens

Your number 1 reason on why the NFC south won't make it is my reason why the NFC East won't make it. If you ask me what the best division is, hands down the NFC East are all top teams. But they all have to play each other twice. I see the best divisional record in the NFC East being 4-2 with most being 3-3. Brett Favre's best days are behind him (yes I know he just threw for 6TD, but I think that was an aberation). He will not lead the Jets to a playoff berth. Also, no one can say anything good about the seahawks. But then you can't really say anything good about that division when you have St. Louis in there.

I see the bracket like so
AFC
#1 Titans (Unless Indi turns their season around starting this weekend)
#2 Pittsburg (Their division is really weak this year)
#3 Buffalo
#4 Chargers
#5 Jacsonville or Indi but definately an AFC south team
#6 Fins (with a 9-7 record)

The AFC North and West are really weak this year. Denver could become big if their defence stops giving up 30+ points a game.

NFC
#1 Buccs
#2 Giants
#3 Packers
#4 49ers
#5 Cowboys
#6 Saints

Outside of the NFC East I really don't like any division. But it is because the NFC East is so strong that I don't think they make the super bowl.

Interesting thing to note, if the season ended today hers how it would be
AFC
#1 Titans
#2 Bills
#3 Steelers
#4 Broncos
#5 Patriots
#6 Ravens

NFC
#1 Giants
#2 Panthers
#3 Packers
#4 Cardinals
#5 Buccs
#6 Redskins

The NFC East beat up on eachother last year, sent 3 teams to playoffs, Won super bowl.

I know ur a dolphin fan, but seriously? 9-7? I give them 6-10 and thats being GENEROUS

49ers not a bad idea, but they still need to figure out their identity as a team.

Fins should be sitting at 2-1 right now. We got hosed against the Jets, but as the old saying goes, "Better Lucky than Good"

No one gave the fins a chance 2 weeks ago against NE in foxborough and we walloped them. Like I said earlier ... Fins beat Botls 23-20 with a last second dan carpenter field goal to give the fins and my fantasy team the win (yes carpenter is on my team, but only because my normal kicker is on a bye). The fins still have to play Houston, Baltimore, seattle, st. louis, oakland, and KC. I think the fins can pull off wins in all of those places. I think we'll be able to split buffalo this year. I also think the fins will pull off the sweep of NE this year. I think the denver game can go either way depending on whether ed hochuli is the ref or not. I don't like the Jets game in NY to close the season because its fricken cold there.

So do I honestly think the Fins can go 9-7 this year ... yes. Whether that actually ends up being enough to get a playoff spot is another story.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
NHL: Ehh, not a big fan, but if I had to choose, I'd go wit the Philadelphia Flyers
NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder (R.I.P. to my Seattle Sonics)
NCAAF: Nebraska Huskers
NCAAB: Kansas Jayhawks (2008 National Champs Son!!!)
Golf: Not a fan...dencet to watch when football wasn't on
NASCAR: That ain't a real sport...

Teams I hate...
MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets
NFL: New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints
NHL: New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings
NBA: San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James

MLB: Boston Red Sox
NFL: New England Patriots
NBA: Boston Celtics (see where this is going? I'm a Boston boy)
NHL: Anaheim Ducks (I was like EMILIO!!!!!!)

I watch alot of sports and follow just about everything so if anyone ever wants to talk sports I'm in. I still don't think MMA is a sport. It's either 13 seconds then a lucky punch lands or 3 rounds of 2 dudes cuddling on the ground. WWE has more talent then these hacks, at least they can do back flips and s**t lol.

Oh and I love the Iowa Hawkeyes for anything college. I hate the Nebraska Corn Holers just because of where I live that all anyone wants to talk about. These people are still living in 1994 when the Huskers had a good team. Every year the Huskers beat up on some middle school teams and all I hear about is "See they're back!" No they are not.
